Biography

Lindsey Carlson joined the faculty in the fall of 2019. She received her BSN from William Jewell College and her MSN from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. Her clinical background includes practice in Hematology/Oncology, Pediatrics and Women’s Health.

Carlson has been a nurse educator since 2002, teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses. Areas of emphasis in teaching have included Health Assessment, Foundations, and Management. She also has extensive experience working with students and graduates nationally as they prepare to take the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. She is passionate about equipping the next generation of nurses to be competent and compassionate caregivers.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
