Cassie Flanagan, APRN, MSN, FNP-C
Interim Assistant Professor
Cassie Flanagan joined College faculty as an assistant professor in the fall 2017. After serving one year as a faculty member in the undergraduate BSN program, she transitioned to the master’s program in fall 2018.
Flanagan has clinical experience in telemetry, long-term care, trauma ER, and primary care. Throughout her nursing career, she has taught as an adjunct nursing faculty for both Research College of Nursing and University of Missouri – Kansas City. After completing her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2013, she has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for Minute Clinic of Kansas City.
She was the recipient of the April 2018 SAINT award at the College, is a member of American Nurses Association, Phi Beta Kappa, and Sigma Theta Tau (Delta Lambda-at-Large & Psi Chi Chapters). In May of 2019, she will be returning to school to pursue her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
