Lead Faculty RN-BSN Coordinator and Assistant Professor
Dr. Caroline Olawaiye is an assistant professor who joined the undergraduate nursing faculty in 2013. She is the Lead Faculty for the RN-BSN program. Dr. Olawaiye joined the Saint Luke’s Health system in 1998 after completing her ADA. Her clinical experiences at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City include working as a Clinical Nurse III and Resource Nurse on the neuropathy/rehabilitation unit. She was also a staff nurse at Trinity Lutheran Hospital and Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Olawaiye is an active member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, the University of Missouri-Columbia Honor Society, and Sigma Theta Tau International, Lambda Phi Chapter. She is a manuscript reviewer for the Rehabilitation Nursing journal (RNJ).
In 2018, Dr. Olawaiye received the Faculty Professional Excellence Award at Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences.
