Marie Ann Taboada
MSN-NE, BSN, RN, CNSC, MBA
Assistant Professor Marie Ann Taboada joined the faculty at Saint Luke’s College in fall of 2017. She completed her MSN-NE from the University of Central Missouri in December 2017. In December 2012, she earned her MBA in Healthcare Administration and her MBA Certificate in March 2010 from Avila University. She completed her BSN in 1992 from Cebu Normal University in the Philippines.
Marie Ann currently works as a nurse in the Critical Care, Telemetry and Medical-Surgical Unit at Holistic Health Care Services. She was previously a clinical instructor in the pre-licensure BSN programs at William Jewell College and at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Marie Ann holds licensure as an RN in both Kansas and Missouri. She is certified as a Nutrition Support Clinician and is certified in both BCLS, ACLS and PALS.
She is a member of American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Sigma Alpha Phi chapter.
Marie Ann was a contributing author to Nutrition Secrets, 2nd Edition in 2004. She was the recipient of the National Engaged Leader Award in December 2016 and for the 2006 Research Foundation Scholarship. She was awarded the Academic Excellence award from Cebu Normal University’s College of Nursing in 1992.
