Position Summary

Qualifications 
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Must hold current MO RN licensure
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education preferred
  • Evidence of commitment to nursing profession, with focus on nursing education

NOW HIRING: Resident Intern

Position Summary
Provides mentoring to students across the curriculum. Meets and plans with other peer mentor team members to provide peer-to-peer tutoring and academic support to enhance learning and higher levels of achievement in course work across the curriculum. Interact and provide information regarding needed resources and supplies to support peer mentoring to the Instructional Systems Team. Provides peer-to-peer and small group mentoring. Oversees Open Lab and direct students to supplemental resources and classroom materials to guide them during skills practice to support simulation, lab and clinical skills required for mastering nursing skills techniques
Qualifications
  • Must be a high achieving student at SLCHS.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft computer programs (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook) highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team in a professional and confidential manner
