Instructor Nathan Hagen joined the faculty in 2015. He earned both his BSN from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences in 2009 and completed his MSN in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Saint Luke’s College in 2015.
He currently works at Saint Luke’s East Hospital as a critical response and charge nurse. Nathan is also a Critical Care Nurse and Helicopter Crew Chief for the United States Army Reserve where he is responsible for maintaining medical readiness for 150-200 soldiers.
Nathan Hagen has years of work experience both in civilian and military hospital settings. He holds multiple certifications including CCRN (Critical Care Nursing Certification), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and BLS (Basic Life Support). He has received multiple military awards including the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal to name a few.
