Ludmilla (Luda) Teterina
Assistant Professor Luda Teterina joined the faculty at Saint Luke’s College in 2014. She earned an MSN from Duquesne University, her BSN from William Jewell College and Diplomas from Missouri Baptist Medical Center School of Nursing and from the Medical Science Academy School of Nursing in Moscow, Russia.
Luda’s nursing experience includes Advanced Nurse Clinician in an Electrophysiology Lab, clinical heart transplant coordinator in Advance Heart Failure Services, and Advanced Nurse Clinician in a Coronary Intensive Care Unit. Her interests in nursing include education, cardiac care, critical care, and end of life care.
She has volunteered in numerous capacities through non-profit religious organizations, including overseas mission trips, teaching health care classes and managing the First Aid station during national and local conferences. She is actively involved in health and public services at her local church.
Luda is licensed in Missouri and holds certifications in BLS/CPR Provider. She is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, National League of Nursing, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is fluent in both Russian and English.
