James D. Waterman
MSN, RN, CMSRN
James D. Waterman joined the faculty in fall of 2016. He has a master’s degree in Adult Health Nursing and is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with an emphasis in education. Both degrees are from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He earned a BSN from William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri and a bachelor’s in biology from Drury College. Waterman holds registered nurse licenses in Kansas and Missouri.
He comes to the College from the University of Kansas Hospital as an Education Specialist at the AHA Training Center. He has been a classroom and clinical instructor for many years at William Jewell College as well as a clinical educator at Liberty Hospital.
Waterman has more than 35 years of professional practice at liberty Hospital including as a nursing supervisor and as a BLS, ACLS, and PALS coordinator.
