A group of students volunteered in the cold temperatures at the Longview Half Marathon on Saturday morning, November 15. A portion of the proceeds will help Saint Luke’s Home Care & Hospice provide compassionate and high-quality services to patients and families in our community. Congratulations to the runners and volunteers.
The College was busy Wednesday with CAPS (Center for Advance Professional Studies) high school students getting a glimpse into the healthcare field. Students ran drills in the Simulation Lab and performed emergent cricothyrotomy procedures using pig tracheas and practiced basic suturing techniques in the skills labs. Thanks to Assistant Professor Shane Hagen, MSN, RN, for leading the program.
On Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, four graduate nursing students and 34 senior nursing students were inducted into the Saint Luke’s College Nursing Honor Society — a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Kansas City, MO – Sept 13, 2014 was the Homecoming Reunion for Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences at which the class of 1964 was honored for their 50-year anniversary.
Alumni came from all over the country to celebrate and many alumni from the classes of 1959 and 1954 attended to celebrate their 55th and 60th reunions.
