Saint Luke’s College Receives HLC Accreditation Visit Report

Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences (SLCHS) recently went through a comprehensive reaffirmation review visit from the Higher Learning Commission on its undergraduate and graduate programs.
The College met all accreditation criteria and the compliance review found the institution to meet the Commission’s requirements, with no follow-up recommended.
 “The College is extremely proud of the comments received regarding the quality of education offered at SLCHS,” said President Hubert Benitez, DDS, PhD.

Saint Luke’s College Spring Graduation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 6, 2016) –Saint Luke’s College graduated 91 BSN, two RN-BSN and 23 MSN students on May 6, 2016. MSN students received degrees or certificates  in both Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) and Nurse Educator. 

Saint Luke’s College has nearly 500 students. There are 370 BSN, 90 RN-BSN and 38 MSN students. The graduate program expects to grow with the addition of more graduate tracks in the near future.

Following the April 13, 2014, shooting tragedy at the Jewish Community Campus and Village Shalom in Overland Park, Kansas, a group of caring individuals decided that the community has the power to outshine and overcome such senseless acts of hate. SevenDays is a challenge for young and old, to embrace diversity across races, religions, and cultures. Through three events, Faith, Love & Song, Faith, Love & Kindness and Faith, Love & Walk, we hope to promote understanding and encourage kindness to Make a Ripple to Change the World.

Saint Luke's College Students Win Big

Saint Luke’s College nursing students presented their EBP Student Project Posters at the 2016 STTI Spring Research Symposium at Graceland University School of Nursing on April 11, 2016.

Saint Luke's College Celebrates Seniors

Today our Seniors will participate in Associate Professor Kay Luft's test-taking strategies seminar. Before they face a day of learning, we sent them off with a full belly. Thanks to all the seniors who took part in the Chris Cakes festivities.
