On Thursday, April 26, 2018, the College celebrated faculty and staff accomplishments from this past year with the first annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Tea.
The College is in a constant state of activity year-round. In addition to our commitment to delivering a high-quality health care education, faculty and staff are continually improving themselves through research to earning additional certificates, masters and doctoral degrees.
“The faculty affairs committee decided to recognize all we have done this year,” said Assistant Professor Mary Poskin. “This is one of the hardest group of professionals I’ve ever worked with, and that should be celebrated.”
The group recognized 13 people for a collective 155 years of service to Saint Luke’s; 22 presentations given across the globe; 5 masters or doctoral degrees; three articles published in various journals and much more.
The event honored retiring faculty member Associate Professor Kay Luft who has been with the College for 35 years. Luft's family and friends joined in the festivities.
