Associate Professor Dr. Allison Lowderman joined the faculty at Saint Luke’s College in spring of 2018. Since August 2016, she has served as a clinical adjunct instructor at the College and helped with the course development for the AG-ACNP and FNP programs.
She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky in June 2013. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa in November 2003. And she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado in May 1995 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She recently worked at The University of Kansas Health System as an FNP at The Center for Concussion Management. Before that, she was an NP in general surgery at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Allison holds licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Kansas and as an RN in both Kansas and Missouri. She is board certified FNP through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is certified in BCLS.
She currently serves as the Board Member-at-Large for the Missouri Nurses Association West Central Region. She is an Executive Council Member for the Greater Kansas City Advanced Practice Nurses. She is a member of the Frontier Nursing University Honor Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
